Our at-home tests were designed to stay stable during transit, so your sample stays viable for analysis. For example, your dried blood spot card stays viable at room temperature for several weeks.

In the case of extreme heat (>90 degrees Fahrenheit), drop your sample directly off at a post office instead of in a collection box or in your mailbox. This will help protect the sample and lessen any effects of the heat.

In the rare case that your sample is not viable when it gets to the lab, the Base Member Care team will reach out to you with several options to recollect your sample - free of charge.
